I don't know how to get the retina scanner to work can somebody tell me how to get it to work.

You need to get a line of sight on the person being scanned where, of course, they can't see you. For example hide somewhere that allows them to walk straight toward you. And it is tricky because the scanner is nice and slow.

You may need to nudge your right thumbstick to keep the person in scanner range. You're getting the scanner to lock on, right? You just need to be in the exact right spot to capture the entire scan. Highly annoying I know.
