Ok here it goes. I understand that there is no multiplayer, but how sophisticated is the AI? Are there various levels of AI that you can set the game up with? Or is there only one standard set of AI toughness that you will face throughout the game? Also do you have to worry about logistics? Such as Fuel or Ammo?

Actually, THERE IS MULTIPLAYER, fyi. You can play up to threee other people, AI or friends. There are several different AI difficulties. Yes, you do have to worry about Fuel, Ammo, terrain, multiple levels of areas to scan, radar scrambling, different types of tracks/tires, etc.  http://www.eglive.com/?view=article&article=611
