I love these types of games and I just wanted to say I hope the US gets more of these (preferably with better graphics and animations Very Happy) I just got the game on Friday and am still getting in the swing of things, but I just wanted to say I love this game and want more turn based goodness on US consoles

Yeah, I'm hoping they bring over Dai Senryaku VII Exceed for the PS2 as well. I am going to try to get my hands on the Japanese version as soon as I can scrape that much frivolous cash together so I can enlighten folks as to the differences.

I believe Daisenryaku VII DX for PC is only in Japan. I doubt it will come over here particularly when there are much more advanced programs already available on the PC.

More importantly:

HERE ARE THE NEW FEATURES OF THE PS2 D7 (which isn't out yet in Japan):

1. Experience is carried over from battle to battle in campaign mode (!!!!)
2. You can "Bomb" and "Rebuild" facilities now.
3. New Interception command for ships at sea
4. Vehicles now have operator portraits and apparently dialog (hmm).

The word is still out on:

More scenarios?
More Maps?
More Units?

There don't appear to be any other MAJOR differences (i.e. no unit editor, sorry)...and no, I'm don't have the game, I'm just reading the ss-alpha website.

Took a look over there. I really wish I could get my hands on that PC version. Would be great as a pet project to make a mod out of. Cool

Even still, the PS2 version has got me wondering. The portraits and dialog are interesting...
