Are American V-TOLS any good and what is a good way to use them? Firepower wise.

The F-35Cs are a good Anti-Ship platform and the AV-8B Harriers are good for softening up ground targets before an amphibious assault. I also tend to deploy Harriers as Anti-Helo platforms as well.
