So, here I'd like to discuss things relating to TBS. Tactical RPGs are welcome too...
NOTE: Please don't flame, troll for flames and the like. We won't trash your genre or games, so please to trash ours.

- Dai Senryaku VII: Modern Military Tactics (XBox)
- Growlanser Generations (PS2)
- Disgaea: Hour of Darkness (PS2)
Games I'm watching the Developement of
- Pacific Storm (More RTS, but I'm watching this regardless) (PC)
- Shattered Union (PC, XBox)

Can't wait for Fire Emblem for the Cube. I'm always looking forward to new Shining Force games, as well.

Oh, I almost forgot about Fire Emblem.
Still haven't gotten around to playing it all that much. Trying to unlock everything in Advance Wars 2. After that, it's really the only other GBA game I own and play very often.
Though I haven't looked at the one for the Cube much as that one belongs to my family so I don't use it much if at all.

I'm still adding games to that list. That is just the tip of the iceberg. Comes from running the largest fan-supported import site on the net.
If you want to see a VERY out of date list of my complete collection you can look:

I can imagine. That's just crazy though how many games you've got. I used to have a ton of game myself, but most were Ebay'ed, traded in or lost via moving and whatnot.
However, none were ever imports. Thankfully, through Ebay I might get around to reclaiming some of the better old strategy games that I enjoyed playing. But, I can't pick much up yet as I'm kicking all my spending cash aside for the 360 launch.

Thought I'd mention a new game I almost forgot about (which I had been watching) until I read a review in the August Issue of Game Informer.
The game? Makai Kingdom: Chronicles of the Sacred Tome.
Anyone that is a fan of Disgaea: Hour of Darkness and Phantom Brave is suggested to check this title out. In fact, anyone that is familiar with the work done by Nippon Ichi is recommended to check this game out as well. While the reviews give it an 8, (stating that Disgaea is still the standard for comparison), this looks like a good addition with some interesting features. Things such as vehicles and the the ability to summon buildings that give your characters special traits when they visit them. For instance the review states that if you summon a hospital and a character visits it, they will receive a health regeneration bonus.

Played a bit of Airborne Assault:Highway to the Reich (Win)
I like this game so far. The unit details are excellent and extend even to the biographies of some of the more notable participants of Market Garden. I don't like RTS but I don't really consider pausable RTS to be "rts" as much variable turn length TBS and that is how this game plays.
There is no grid, which makes it very cool that units are represented in the manner of cardboard counters. The interface to controlling the field of battle has been nicely improved from the previous version (I only played the demo though).
I love the vector based maps, vector based anything is pretty much a real turn-on but to apply this to strategy game maps is basically about the coolest thing I've seen in a long time. Inclusion of a map editor and scenario editor is also very very nice.
I can't find a couple of features I need but it's truly for lack of looking up the hotkey...I've yet to really need a hotkey to play the game but the hotkeys I've discovered are super cool.
Anyway, good game so far

I'm now on the Beta team for Flashpoint Germany. I can't really reveal what it is I'm testing but if you go to the FPG boards at matrixgames.com you can easily figure it out.
I'm still trying to decide if I like the game or not. It has a unique play mechanic that actually seems to work given the era that the game is set in: late 80s/early 90s cold war in N. Germany. The Warsaw Pact has decided that it's high time to invade and its up to NATO to stop them.
You can play as either side, there's a scenario editor but the maps are pre-rendered so you're stuck with them...they are good though so no worries there. The mechanics (there's probably an acronym for them) are: Simultaneous planning/Simultaneous movement. You can set your turn length at game start to be 10, 15, 20, 25 or 30 minutes.
As I said, I'm reserving judgement on it still. Only had it for two days.
So far the two strategy games (and the third I have on the way) I have are all PBM or PBTCPIP. It would be great if some of us Kemco regulars could synchronize our strategy gaming. I'd play SPMBT but alas I've not put any time into it yet.

You know, I really don't want a DS, but now that the next installment of my favorite series is going to that system, I might have to consider getting a DS.
Though, I probably won't until the system is dirt cheap.
