I played a game a few days with with a navy force and had a hard time with the USA carrier.

What planes can land on Carriers? I could land my Apaches helos on the carriers just fine, but when I tried to land my Eagles, and Thunderbolts couldn't. Not for sure why, can anyone shed any light on this?

Because those planes are not carrier aircraft! Carrier capable aircraft are designated with the green AIR symbol on their info screen.

Thanks I knew I was missing something, but don't play much with the Navy units.

I knew the A-10 wasn't a plane found on carriers, but couldn't see a difference between them and other planes.

The F-35B and EA-6 is also carrier capable.

And of course the Wasp landing craft can load up to three VTOL capable air units, so the F-35C and Harriers can pop on board.

And Blades, if you want to use the carriers of other nations, just remember this bit: The Russians only have 1 capable naval plane, the S-33 Naval Flanker (I think 33 is the right designator), the French have the Rafale M and the Super Etendard, and the Brits have their 2 Harrier variants (one is optimized for ground attack, the other as an Air-to-Air fighter) and the F-35C. No other nations in the game have this ability, which is what makes the US Navy such a potent force. It's expensive, but a fully-loaded Nimitz and a Wasp sidekick make for the core of a powerful Naval/Marine air strike force.

what is a F-35 I have not finshed all missions I only put in the cheats is this sometihing you get when you win all missions. also I noticed a few helio that I dont get with the cheats could I put in the missions cheats to get these. thanks
