Alright, Chris Nolan is bringing in a new Bat-film for Summer 2005! Awesome. Christian Bale is the Bat. That's awesome too. Nolan already said that he's going to abandon the look and feel of the four previous films and make it darker and scarier, as Batman should be. How do you think the costume will look? More like the comics, like Sandy Collora's Batman Dead End? That'd be good. What's everybody's thoughts on Intimidation Game?

Apparently, they are going to have The Scarecrow at the start only, to show that this film is unlike it's predecessors, as it is a lot darker and scarier. For the rest of the film, R'as al Ghul will be the bad guy (good news for Dark Tomorrow fans), and for that, they are looking for a young Anthony Hopkins type... for the Scarecrow, they want Christopher Eccelson- who was the messiah in British TV drama "The Second Coming", and played a small part in Sci-Fi film "eXistenZ".

This, of course, is great news, but what isn't is the new Catwoman film, starring Halle Berry as her, and her alter ego is Patience Phillips.... who the hell is that? It seems to have nothing to do with Batman or even Catwoman herself... oh no...

Bale is going to rule as Batman. I'm quite happy with his casting. I'd kind of like the outfit to be dark blue as opposed to black though.

Nolan said that his Batman is gonna be wearing a suit MUCH more faithful to the comics. We'll see if he goes with the black or the blue in July 2005!

I hope he goes with black. That would be more realistic. I still don't understand why the artists of the Batman comic use blue. Black is a darker, stealthier, and creepier color.
