Hexes are what makes the world go round...
...at least in a "good" strategy game. I swear, the few that I play with square grids as opposed to hex grids are so...plain. The few that can pull it off are the Strategy RPGs like Disgaea and Final Fantasy Tactics (Not Advance, I hated that one). Even then, they would be infinitely better with hexes.
...if only for the fact that instead of a 4 on 1 boss beatdown it's a 6 on 1. (Not counting ranged attacks lol)

I just bought a copy for my son without realising pal/ntsc problem. lots of disappointment when it didnt work. a pal version would put me back in his good books!
